As part of Chester Alumni's committment to the community, the chapter established its scholarship program in 1996. The chapter has given over $40,000 in scholarships since the inception of the program to graduating students in Delaware County.

Kappa Klassic
Saturday, February 13, 2010 – Chester, PA
The Brothers of Chester (PA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc held its 14th annual Kappa Klassic at Chester High School. The Klassic which is held during one of the varsity boys’ basketball games help supports our Elder Watson Diggs Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors who matriculate into a college or university. Chester beat their rival – Glenn Mills, Glenn Mills, PA, 59 – 45, while junior, Darius Collins took home the MVP Trophy.
Halloween Party
The Brothers of Chester Alumni hosted a Halloween Party at Reef Lounge on Friday, October 31st. Brothers and patrons all enjoyed themselves in and out of character, and best of all the proceeds from the event went to the chapter’s scholarship fund.
